Motorists in Abuja now have an additional fuelling option following the introduction of self-service fuel dispensing at Sunbet Filling Station near Banex Junction.
The facility announced the service on September 24, saying customers could dispense fuel themselves rather than wait for attendants to serve them.
The initiative is expected to offer motorists greater convenience by reducing the time spent at the filling station, particularly during busy periods.
Under the arrangement, customers can drive into the station, use the designated self-service facility and complete their fuelling without the usual attendant-led process.
The development comes as businesses continue to explore ways of improving customer experience and streamlining everyday services in the Federal Capital Territory.
However, the announcement did not provide details on whether the service would operate throughout the day, the safety procedures in place or whether customers would receive assistance when needed.
The station, operated by Sunbeth Energies, is located near Banex Junction in Abuja.
